2nd day of Khmer and Dhamma Study

Here are pictures from our 2nd day / 2nd week of Khmer and Dhamma Study (KDS) at Wat Dhammarangsi.
Two students Sidney and Alex continued on their second week, and were joined by their friend Chao.  We continued with Dhamma study by adding one more recitation to learn, the Requesting the Three Refuges.

First Day of Khmer and Dhamma Study

Hello Wat Dhammarangsi community.  Last Saturday 6/12, Wat Dhammarangsi held the first day of Khmer and Dhamma class, with two students, taught by Mr. Sokharo Choy.
We started class with learning to recite namo tassa in Pali, and continued with conversational Khmer, then moved on to learning five vowels, and writing our names in Khmer script.  [...]

Tipitaka Study Group

Study the Tipitaka (“Three Baskets”) in English and Pali, with Preah-ong Rithy on Fridays, from 2 to 6 pm at the Wat.  The Tipitaka is the collection of Buddha’s sayings, as well as stories and commentaries added on through the years.
